Black Box Appears over Content in IE

I am using the Dominion template,
I am having an issue in internet explorer where a strange black graphics covers up my content in a particular section. This also prevents me from clicking on or interacting with any of the content on the page. I don't know why this is appearing. I've got a screenshot attached.
I think this might have something to do with the Roknewspager on this page. But I'm not sure because I've got got the roknewspager working fine other places.

check for missing closing elements </div> etc.: every tag has to be closed!
