Whilst surfing around the internet , I came across this link

As this person asked if he/she can port the theme , or if he/she is a member of RocketTheme is he/she allowed to port themes to other CMS software other than Joomla ?

I was going to charge for this since this is not a free theme given to the joomla community but I thought what the hell... enjoy this joomla theme ported to e107... 'onemorething' 3 column layout.
This theme is available in the downloads."

Andy has mentioned before that links to pirate sites must not be posted here. If your intention is to help/inform Andy, PM him.
All this is is a modification of a RT theme... the idiot has simply stripped out the joomla php and replaced it with something else.. the site design ie. layout and graphics have been copied exactly. - Say no to Internet Explorer 6.

E107 Has actually been around since before Mambo/Joomla. It was conceived by one, really smart dude named Jalist, in Holland I believe. It used to be at jalist.com and it's really funny because it was more of a blog than a project page. He coded this thing and then started asking for opinions about it. It was funny because he also used to code php extensions for a hacked Windows Shell.
E107 is an excellent piece of software, and, works well out of the box for those new to the CMS environment. It falls flat in third party extensions, though, and the community side is almost exclusively a collection of questions and problems with very little answers forthcoming. The real problem with their CMS, in my opinion is that the community never commercialized to any great extent, unlike Joomla, which has a nice mixture of commerce and open source contributors working together. It may be harsh, but when people have something to lose, i.e. service providers, they get more responsive to solving problems.
Joomla was more difficult to master for me in the beginning (as they need to invest some time in technical writing courses) but once I got it down - Man what a ride!

And addendum is in order:
Coding Templates is much, much easier in Joomla than it is in E107 once you get the hang of it.
E107's backend is great though. It's intuitive and easy to master. Every section of the page, whether in a sidebar, header, footer, or main content area is turned on and off from a single control panel. Each editable area of a given template is asigned an "area number", and then you use a dropdown menu for each module to select the area you want it to appear in. It's similar to Joomla's Module Administration, but much simpler and more intuitive. On E107's module page you have a mock up of the site's front page listed with each active module, and where it's placed on the page.
That said, as of the last version there wasn't an option to let you choose what pages each module could appear on. If it was an active module it was active on every page, unlike Joomla, where you can get into deep custimization.
That was supposed to be remedied in their new CVS version, which I haven't tried since being wooed by Joomla.
One more thing that E107 has is an extremely active themers community. And, since all themes are opensource and available on only two sites, it does make it easy to find a good theme and run with it. Even their best themes are free. But even their best themes don't come close to those on Rockettheme.
I still wouldn't recommend it over Joomla, but it is great software.
