    • Wow! I love it! Very good job Jonathan ;)
What are the configs you used for monoslideshow? With the thumbs to the right looks awesome!

    • The slideshow's so arresting, it took a few minutes even to notice there was any other content... :)

The only thing I'd say is you might want to change the favicon -- use the company logo, if you can.

    • Yes, i will change the favicon... its on my list of todo's.

James...i hope that a good thing!

Thanks for the comments. The company was able to fly me out to California to work with them on what type of website they wanted. after examining all my options, I found joomla with a nice rockettheme plus monoslideshow (1.3) and lots of mods to the css can produce some pretty nice work with minimal effort. ;)

The mono slideshow is also custom. I used the demo/create xml on their website then tweaked it until i had it just as i wanted.

I've worked with postnuke for almost 4 years now...i think i might stick with joomla

    • That really is eye catching - the photos bring it to life.

Just a heads up (and it could be me being thick) -
in both Firefox and Epiphany running under Ubuntu it looks like the attached image

Firefox on an XP machine worked just fine

    • I'm not sure if this is intentional... i noticed that the top of your suckerfish dropdown is not flush with the buttom of the topmenu - using XP with FF. (see attached)

      Overall...Great work Jonathan! I like it :)

on a side note, would you ming changing the title of your first post to read: "FireStationAlerting - Vortex"
