    • Superb!!.

      I have 1 recommendation.
      The #ffffff background of the mainbody makes it look like you've forgot something for this superb site. Ill suggest you hit it with a darker colour may be #CF2018. Which is some kind of oxblood red or #4F4F4C which is dark grey. (JUST FOR THE FRONT PAGE)

      div#mainbody (line 111 of style5.css)

      {
      background-color: #ffffff;
      background-image: none;
      background-repeat: repeat;
      background-attachment: scroll;
      background-x-position: 0%;
      background-y-position: 0%;
      }

      Well no obligation to change. YOUR SITE IS EXCELLENT AS IT IS

    • On Firefox PC, I get errors with the top menu (fisheye menu). If you click on a link, you can go to the corrct page but after the menu disappears and you get only the button search (see attached pictures). So you are obliged to go back to home to have again that menu.

      I get also Javascript errors on IE and Firefox and it seems that you have lot of javascript loaded that you don't use (tabs_slides greybox slimbox with their libraries). They are due to your mambots and I am sure that they are the source of your problems.

      Also I'm not sure that using Monoslideshow to presents your activities is a great choice because your contents can be indexed by google and the effect is not so great.
      Finally, If you disable javascript (or if your user don't have javascript) not any page of your site can be accessible due to your menu and monoslideshow don't work.

      I hope that you will not be harassed by so much critics. I have hesitate to post but I think finally you will thanks me because even if they are not pleasant, critics are constructive :)

      EDIT: Oups forgot the picture

      I hadn't noticed that on my machine at home. A page refresh restores the menu. it only appears on the first trip. But it cleared up when I removed slimbox.

      oops. Left overs from testing and the original template. Greybox is used, but I might move the script calls to the actual page that uses it. Thanks for that.

      I like the effect. And I don't care so much about Google to be honest.
      I get most of my work by word of mouth, and I have more than enough. But thanks for the concern.

      However your point below about having js turned off is valid.

      Hmm. I wonder if I can put in some menu links on the suckerfish bar, but then hide them with js, so if someone has js turned off they appear.

      Same with a boring :D replacement for the slide show.

      Why hesitate? I am grateful for your comments. I didn't agree with all of them, but I would rather hear honesty than a 'that's nice dear' when it clearly isn't. ;D

      You helped me out. Thanks Youyou.

      There are another couple of changes I need to make soon though.

      You can use the NOSCRIPT balise for set everything you want when javascript is disabled.
      And thus set an html suckerfish instead the former place of the menu in the index.php of your template.
      <NOSCRIPT>
      <div id="horiz-menu" class="suckerfish">
      <ul>
      <li><a href="http://www.websitecrunch.com">Home</a></li>
      <li><a class="topdaddy" href="http://www.websitecrunch.com">News</a>
      &nbsp; &nbsp; <ul>
      &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <li><a href="http://www.websitecrunch.com">News 1</a></li>
      &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <li><a class="http://www.websitecrunch.com">News 2</a><ul>
      &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <li><a href="http://www.websitecrunch.com">News 3</a></li>
      &nbsp; &nbsp; </ul>
      </li>
      <li><a href="http://www.websitecrunch.com">Contact</a></li>
      <li><a href="http://www.websitecrunch.com">Forum</a></li>
      </ul>
      </div>
      </NOSCRIPT>

      Same for the Monoslideshow
      Hope that helps :)
