Contrast Design Website - Zephyr

    • Hi David, It sure as heck does!
With the help of a mod (custom html advanced from JTricks) I have put (in a fresh standard Momentum) the swf (a movie) on position ss-preset1, switched off rok-gallery (on that pos) and it works.
But...... although I have both wmode=transparent, only the menu bar and the input fields of the login screen are visible on top of the swf, nothing else. So, it seems not THAT transparent to me. Adobe documentation didn't give me any answers and JTrick doesn't have any documentation.
Do you know the trick to get all positions/modules on top? (Always something, huh... :cheesy: )
      Thanks, /Hans

    • Hi Hans,

You may have to do some playing with z-index figures ;)

    • Hi David,
you love riddles, don't you? :? But i'll find it....
      Thanks for your answer.
      /Hans

EDIT: ......and I did. z-index of my swf was 1. Simply set it to 0 and this issue is closed. Thanks, David.

    • Hi David! I sure will, as soon as I have it presentable. Right now it looks like my shed on the yard. :cheesy:
Thank you for the opportunity. /Hans

    • Hi Hans,

Thanks for the link. Something is taking forever to load! Once page finally loads everything is where I would expect it to be. I suspect it is either the video or audio file being too large. Try disabling the audio and see if it works better.

Contrast display f4v formats via flash swf.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • Thanks, David. Yeah, the load is a problem, also due to the audio. I will suggest to them to drop that part for performance reasons. It isn't even fully loading in FF, even not over Sunday morning breakfast, LOL.

      Just for my understanding:
Contrast display f4v formats via flash swf.

Could you translate the BOLD part?
      Thanks again.

    • Hi Hans,

      That's the easy bit :cheesy:

The F4V file type is primarily associated with 'Flash' by Adobe Systems Incorporated. F4V files are standard MP4 files that can be played back by Flash Player 9 Update 3 and above.

    • Thank you. I will try to figure out how I can benefit from this to increase the performance. I saw that the whole contrastdesign.co.uk F4V file is only 12Mb. Awsome..... currently I am looking at 24+ sizes.

    • The seo work is not mentioned here, but deserves it. google page rank of 6 is very impressive.
