    • Hey all,

      I'm building this website for a friend.

      www.rentarmenia.com

      it's not quite finished yet, still got some areas to finish.

      just wanted to see what you thought, good and bad.

      I'm always willing to improve my sites!

      so if you have a second just check it out.

    • Page looks nice. I just browsed it from my netbook at 1024 x 600 resolution and I was not able to see the showcase with out scrolling because the constant flash on top covers the half of the page.

    • I think it would look better if you use a picture for the showcase rather than an illustration. The cartoon view with the real pictures of the houses create a harsh view of the site. This is only regarding your home page though.

    • I agree easumd, you can use a picture for header and it can be shorter.

      Also are you planning to work on SEO?

    • Hey,

      Thats a great idea, the people i am doing this for may be flying me out to armenia to photograph their house, so i could get a scenic shot and the animation would still work! :)

      and Oguz, as to shorter, in height or width?

    • Shorter height, It looks good on 1024x768 but looked lil bit tall at my netbook.

    • ahhh, the problem is that i have a 24" imac so when i design an image it may look ok to me, but on smaller screens its gona be much larger.

    • Use VirtualBox to test in Ubuntu on scaling dimensions. A bit more accurate than simply resizing the browser.

      BTW, I wish I had more clients that would fly me to places like Armenia to photograph stuff :cheesy: :cheesy:
