We Love Romania.com
is my community website for people who appreciate the country of Romania for whatever reason. It seems that while in the U.S. the only time I ever heard anything about Romania is when something bad happened here and, this is just my way of giving people a voice to talk about the good things the country holds. BTW, I was born in the U.S. and have absolutely no Romanian blood in me at all, I fell in love with the country on my first visit over four years ago.
Not too many extensions have been added, I'm trying to keep the site as "light" as possible:
JomSocial is the main component
A custom fotbal (soccer) script was added (I wish I knew how to show it without the use of an iframe).
A custom weather script was added (it also uses an iframe).
A phpBB3 forum using the Tachyon style template.
I know a few things need to be fixed in the forums but any suggestions for improving the site would be greatly appreciated. http://weloveromania.com/

Nice idea for and implementation of a community site! I enjoy traveling and thus any site that can open my eyes to a new place to go is invaluable.
I noticed you have category lists for the category menu items. This may be a personal style choice, but it leaves the page looking empty on smaller populated cats. I would recommend doing the blog layout as it seems to fill the page easier and piques users' interests a bit more.
One thing I found myself wanting more of Romania from your site is images/photos. I know you have a gallery for users to submit to, but I think possibly a module to add random photos to the front page (like RokBox or RokTabs) would be nice, and maybe even have a place you can post suggestions for users with wanted photos. For example a post that you want the best photos of the historic capital, etc. Might help to bring more images and multimedia to the site.

I agree and I changed it. There just isn't enough content yet to have it as a list style and, the blog layout is more interesting.
