Versatility 3 with some custom modules

Posted 17 years 11 months ago
    • Hello All,
Here is my second Joomla/Rockettheme site. It's not 100% done yet but I wanted to get some opinions and suggestions. Also, I haven't checked it in anything other than IE. If you have any problems in any other browsers please let me know.

      Thanks
      Dan

    • Looks good Dan. My only thought is to update the URL icon.

      Nice Work :)

    • thanks for the comment.

How do I go about editing that icon?

    • 1. Create an image, around 16 x 16 pixels
      2. Go to this URL converticon.com/
      3. Convert
      4. Upload to your Joomla! root and /images directory as favicon.ico
      5. Clear cache : Ctrl+F5

    • I just changed the layout of some of my history pages. This was recommended to me by a viewer from joomla.org's forum. It's only a small change to help the user understand where to click, but I think it helps it out a lot. Let me know what you think

    • Ok, I am a little stumped on this favicon thing. I createda an icon. It came out to 16X11 pixels. I then uploaded it to public_html/images and the cleared my cache. All I see is the IE icon. So I did some searching on forums and people suggested renaming it to favicon2.ico. So I did that and changed my global config and still nothing. So then I went into the html of the template and hardcoded the favicon2.ico and still no change. I have now emptied my cache, history and offline files multiple times from 2 different comps that are running two different versions of IE and I can't get the ico to show. Any more ideas?

    • I have yet to get it to work in IE even with clearing my cache. Maybe James can comment on that one and help us both? ;) I do have it working in FireFox though. I just did what James listed above and it works in FF. Have you tested in FF?

    • Not yet. I will check it in FF when I get home tonight. Work only uses IE :) Can you see my icon using FF?
