phpBB3 version of Paradox. Uses some minor MODs for additional functions, and some custom hacking to add extra display modules to the showcase area.
A lot of people criticized the design of Paradox when it came out, but it was ideal for this relaunch of a popular UK creative writing forum, which in its previous incarnation had been running as a Mambo 4.5.1 site since 2005! That version got way too creaky and vulnerable to maintain, so Great Writing has been reborn as a leaner, meaner phpBB site.
Would appreciate any suggestions on further development / MODs suited toward creative writing. One think I'd like to do is to be able to apply a global styling to all first posts within selected forums.
