    • I just spent the last 4 days power building this site. It is built on the Mercado template but does not incorporate an eCommerce component.

Most of the build time went into the backend which uses Community builder as its base - you can see the results of that on the "book a consultation" page. I am using close to 150 different fields in CB.

I added a image rotator on the front page as a way to beautify the site as I find this template to be a little drab by itself.

I am using RScomments for the commenting system and I am a little disappointed with it. Believe it or not it doesn't come with a "latest comments" module. Seems a little silly not to include that.

The Rokfeature module was a pig to work with but it seems to be doing the trick. I wish it was a little more flexible and i could easily incorporate the "deposit" buttons into the chart itself. I found a work around but It's just okay.

I am finding joomla 1.6 a but buggy still so be prepared to trouble shoot a bunch of stuff when building with it. It's stable but the functionality doenst seem to be as promised.

Anyway - give me your feedback - i would love to hear it

    • Hi,

I think your site is very good. Only 4 days? wow. Nice job integrating the various modules. I also think the pricing section is great considering. Thanks for sharing this, I like seeing ecommerce templates used for other purposes.

      Thumbs up.

    • Thanks Deadwinter

I ran into an issue with the Rokminievents module so I had to use gcalendar instead and do a few modifications. The site is now starting to get filled out with content. I am waiting for Rokcomments to go Joomla 1.6 - that would be very helpful
