I have lots of good projects, actually, fantastic projects, but then so does everyone else, but every once in a while - you find an idea that even if it is stupid (e.g. Pet Rock) it rocks. Everyone either buys it or does it (e.g. Macerana dance). Well, I think I found my pet rock.
You all have heard of Karaoke, but have you heard of Karadansu?
It is the dance version of Karaoke. It is the Newest World Wide Dance Craze and I thought of it (Okay, it will be - it is too stupid not to be). Even made up the name "Karadansu"...
Not only is Karadansu cool - so is the site...
Website URL (Karadansu! - The New Dance Craze): karaokedance.com (no longer takes you straight to Karadansu.net or karaokedansu.com or http://karadansu.com they all take you to Karadansu.net (had some hosting issues working out the domain names now)
Template: Replicant by RocketTheme Switched to VERS III
Additional Extensions (Components, Modules, Plug ins): AllVideoplugin, Tabs and Slides, Mehdi's Coppermine bridge (still working on that), Fireboard, Sobi2, Jobline, flash shout box and Easy FAQ Update: Add community builder, group jive and more.
Custom Development: You got to be kidding?? Custom - I don't do no stinking custom!!!! LOL just kidding - only thing I did was get the coppermine video, pics and music album to match the site....(had it working but have to redo it....Hmmmmm)
Other Features: Will have a store soon and adverts...I got virtue mart installed, you just can't see it...yet.
Three (at least) specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on (design, code, graphics, etc.): CHECK IT OUT - Seriously, I made this site in a matter of days, thanks to Joomla...
1. - Give me feed back on the look and feel of it if you could.
2. - any suggestions??? What so ever as I am a NEWBIE.
3. - ummm - did it make you laugh? or just how stupid do you think it is?
Now, this may seem like a dorky site, but think about it - if everyone in the world starts doing this - woooo woooo.
I came up with something soooooo stupid and famous (hopefully) - I am like the pet rock inventor of dancing.
This is bigger than the Makarena Dance (or however you spell it - like duh - you think it is going to show up in spell checker???) Plus, I couldn't of even came close to this if it weren't for Joomla.
Hmmm, if this becomes popular - do you think they will put the word Karadansu in the dictionary?? LOL
Anyway, hopefully it does and this will be the jump start for bigger and better projects.

I would change the background to something along the theme of your site, or remove it altogether. The current one does not advance your goals in any way.

I figured the ocean and beach - gave it a Hawaii Theme...Hmmm. I switched to the Black Electric Ball Theme - WOW. It POPS out now, I must say...but still - probably needs some kind of dance theme put in the background.
I'm adjusting the logo right now too.

Great site Jamie!
I don't like many dark websites, but you did a great job on this one.
Also, I watched that girl on your home page dance 3 times. Very entertaining.

Jaime, it is looking good. I would double check some spelling/editing stuff (I was reading the pronounciation section), but other than that, it rocks!

Thanks everyone. Yes, I have been acting like a little kid in a candy store since I started this project - Babbling like an idiot. So, last night at 4AM I did some changes and forgot to spell check. Actually I should go back over the whole site
and triple check everything.
