A Demensions Community Site
Update 9 Januarary 2008
This Site Has Been Changed From Replicant To Dimensions.
As for the template background, I have left the orginal RT background because I think that it is perfect for a "community site".
Hi everybody,
This is only my second website. It started out as a test site (but damn it grew on me as time went by) ;D
Components: Fireboard Forum, Groupjive, Docman, Banners Manager, Blast Chat, Flash Chat, Blogsidebar, Link Directorys, CB, RS Gallery, DS Syndicate, Easy Book, J Awards, Jom Comment, Myblog, Member Care System, Meta Tag Generator, Ping, Plaxo Invite Manager, PMS Enhanced, Poll XT, PU Arcade,Thickbox RSS, Seyret, Simple FAQ, SMO Ajax Shoutbox, YANC, Articles 3000, Download 3000, GroupJive, E-Weather
I am not even going to get into the modules or mambots that I have installed except for the Online Users pack that I am using.
Special Development, Hmm. Well I must say piecing together the admins Blog section must have caused me the most headaches, but all the components and mods are working happily together. I also spent many, many hours tweaking components, mods and css files to fit in with Dimensions.
The site is not finished yet. I have just started adding content and there is along way to go but I think it is far enough to start taking some critic.
One last Note, So many thanks go out to James S. The Muffin Man. He always was there to answer my questions and most of the time with the right answer the first time around. Thanks James!!!
9:00 pm central that is around 4:00 am here in Germany where the site is located. That is around the time that the hoster makes the daily backup. I will be moving to another server in about 2 months so things should pick up a bit. Thanks for the comments.
Regards
Dave

I'm seeing lots of alignment issues in IE 6. See attached.
Hi Greg,
Thanks for the info. I am aware of this and will be working on getting IE6 to work right after I am finished setting up the site completely.
I am not too worried about IE6 at the momnet because when looking at the server stats only about 5% of the site visitors are using IE6 and beside that it's going to take a lot of time to optimize for IE6. When is MS going to get it right.
Regards
Dave
