    • Good start. I'd add more photos, since it seems that that is what the site is really about.

    • First and foremost - FavIcon...

Second - The Mods at the top moved below the Welcome would bring the welcome to the top and SAY "HI - WELCOME THIS IS BOURNEMOUTH" instead of "hey, ummm down here, ummm welcome"

Also, the orange (which is nice) seems to throw your site off...

Interactive or creative display of photos on the frontage. (What Heather Said)

ummm other than that with all the wonderful creative tools available for displaying images - why are you featuring the pictures way you are? Just curious...I did it that way when I first started with Joomla, but then I found some wonderful tools that make showing pictures inter-active or user friendly.

By the way Love your Header LOGO...sweet

    • Thanks for the comments, I am still adding content so it is a work in progress.

      Favicon will be done, promise.

I am showing the images in a very standard way on purpose. I didn't want any whizzy display features. Personally I find them annoying and just delay getting to the actual content.

The logo was done in 5 mins, glad you like it thanks!!

    • Cool your sticking to your guns on doing it the way you want to for the pics. You just gave me and idea on one of my many sites on the back burner.

Ummm also, did you just install the new comment system by VisualClinic?

It is creating repetitive displays of the each image. realbournemouth.com/index.php?option=com...id=60&Itemid=26  ; <--- this picture shows up again and again...

I was going to use that component but it did it on all my sites and I was in crunch - So, I haven't researched or trouble shot it yet. So, if you get it working - nice if you let us know.

    • That multiple content copying problem was a major headache and I haven't really found a solution. I found a work around that by removing everything on the page with comments except the main content it wouldn't duplicate.
Add a side module in and it creates a duplicate, add in a bottom module and it creates a duplicate.

Still working on the site... slowly!
