Problem with RokSproket extension

Hello
I am running into trouble with a couple of extensions. I installed joomla and a RT template. When I tried to install RokSproket extension, it gave me error saying "cannot upload to the server" ; I was able to install a couple of other extensions. I am working off-line not on any server. Apparently maximum execution time/upload size is not the problem. Can anyone please help? I am not sure if I am posting this on the right place but I appreciate a response.
