    My first few Joomla efforts

    • Hey All,

      I am new to Joomla, but have been involved in web dev/marketing in various capacities for 10+ years.

      I LOVE Joomla!, and can't even bear the thought of building sites "the old way" now. Every site should have a CMS, IMHO. Period.

      Here are my first few sites since the move a couple months back...

      http://www.tamarackvt.com/ First Joomla site. Not RT template. Client not very helpful in helping with content, etc..

      http://www.bearpondproductions.com/ First RT (BentoBox Dark). Lots of media extras (mp3/flash players, lightbox, etc.)

      http://www.smuggsvacationvideos.com/ BentoBox light. Custom rez form, weather module. 2 other clone sites coming...

      http://www.tabbathahenry.com/dev/ Still in development. Colormatic-based. Virtuemart store with Paypal Pro for CC processing.

      Coming soon in RT-based designs...

      Natural Provisions Health Foods - Versatility II
      Picture Me Doll - Elixer 2.0
      And several other clients lining up! People LOVE these great RT designs for Joomla! ;D

      Yes, I agree. RT gave a great color combo there. Went well with her existing logo.

      If anyone is looking for a way to create great color combos for sites, check out this Adobe tool...

      BTW, take the /dev part off and see what old site looked like. New one looks much better, IMO, and she can do SO much more with Joomla site. Old designers had her paying for every little change, not to mention charging her too much for hosting every month.

      BTW, I agree with you too, Joomla is great as well as having RT templates to go with.
