    • Hi,

This is my very first website and it is still in "beta test" mode. A lot of content is unpublished and will be added soon.

The aim is to provide a large free video content related to martial arts. I'm fully aware that there is a lot of improvements to bring but your advices / comments are welcome.

      http://www.howtofight.fr

The website is in french but i plan to add an eng version later.

      Regards,
      Sebastien.

    • Hi,

I would recommend to keep your article text the same or less on the showcase. That way it doesn't move the bottom half of the page up and down as the images scroll.

    • Thank you for your feedback. I've seen that and tried to fix the size of the box directly in CSS without success.

I guess i'll have to fix that by reducing the text. Thank you!

    • You can fix the height of the rok-sprocket box with this css code added to you custom css file:
      .sprocket-features-content {height:460px !important;}

It looks like your tallest text excerpt is about 460 pixels. That should make it consistent for all text excerpts. The only drawback is that if you ever add a longer one, you'll need to modify this css accordingly.

You may also want to play around with the margins or padding if needed.

      Hope that helps. 8)

    • Hi,

Ty for your help. Unfortunately, i tried this line few weeks ago and nothing happened.

I guess i'll have to play with margins and/or reduce the text' length :)

      Regards,
      Sébastien.

    • Last I checked there is a massive gap between your footer and your mainpage content to the left of your sidebar. I would suggest keep things closer knit and get rid of that large bit of negaitve space.

You could try moving the login up top to the login module, and then from there increase the width of your Facebook module so it displays correctly. You got a good start keep it up!

    • Hi,

Sorry for the late answer and thanks a lot for your advices.

You're right, the gap between the footer and the content is way too big. I will work on this issue during the next days.

      Thx a lot!
      Sébastien.
