    • Template: RT Sporticus v2 (very few changes made to the original)

      Extensions Used:
      • Virtuemart - Used for the donations payments.
      • Facile Forms - Used extensively for 4 different dynamically driven forms to control the pool. This is one of the best extensions I've seen!
      • JACL Plus - For better control of visible links for registered users and administrators
      • Security Images - Pairs with DF Contact
      • DF Contact - Not completely happy with it. I'm gonna go back to making my own.
      • Fireboard - Not configured yet. But will be set up within the next couple of days.

      Custom Development: Most of the work on this site had to do with the programming and making things easy on me. There are 2 different applications for registered players. One to control their teams (edit, add, view). And the other is the leader board. When your logged in, it will show you everyones point total. Your own point total is listed on the page so you can compare yourself with the others playing.

      And the other to be used for the administrators of the site. These applications control the points that each football team scores and automatically updates all the players total scores.

      Other Features: Changed the 'Stats' mod to show the number of members on the site plus the number of teams playing in the pool.

      Any specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on, if any: Just showing off... In general, let me know what you think. I added a demo member (that will be erased once play starts) if you want to see how the scripts work. Feel free to add and view teams. I will obviously have to delete the teams once we get going (unless you want to stay and play for real!)... I can't show off the administration applications though.

      Additional Comments: I have been doing a pool called Crazy 8's (for the NCAA March Madness basketball) with a couple of other guys for about 10 years. It has grown into about 250 people with over 320 teams playing... We have been online for the last 6 years to try and ease the burden of keeping up with this stuff on paper... Its a lot of fun if your into sports like me. My next step is to create a way for others to create their own pool for their own users... Thus having many pools going at the same time.
