That is a yes on SlideShow Pro.
I wouldn't call SlideShow Pro a cute extra. It is a very strong tool, especially if you use it in conjunction with SlideShowPro Director, the online php photo management solution.

I use SlideShowPro for Flash and SlideShowPro Director as well. Not the All Videos plugin, but SlideShowPro for Joomla!
With this module, it's very easy to customize the slideshow and have several instances of the module where we want. - Yves

As far as the template goes, it looks very nice with your art. I seriously believe that Dimensions is the "artist's template".
