After using Joomlart for awhile, i decided to try out the latest from Rockettheme with the new 1.5 upgrade. There are a few little changes i might make, but overall, i think i'm done with it. Keeping it very simple.
I am using the rotator in the advert position to list our latest podcasts.
My hardest decision was deciding which style to use - most of them look excellent! I ended up sticking with the first one.

For those of you more theologically inclined, you might find our site interesting. We are argue that Jesus Christ did in fact fulfill his "coming" in the first century with the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple - contra believers and non-believers alike who argue for postponement or failure. ;D

I host the audios through sermonplayer.com. They are the ones that provide that handy player on my audio page. I then take the RSS feed that sermonplayer automatically creates and submitted that to blubrry. Blubrry is a podcast directory that allows me to link to individual mp3s, etc and plays them in a flash player.
The scroller at the top does not read anything automatically. I just type up a brief description of the audio with links to the player and rotate the last 5 in and out....just like the demo has set up, i just decided to use that to announce my latest podcasts vs regular articles, etc.

Thank you. Actually, that forum theme came as-is. It is a "Ubuntu" style for phpbb3. I did not have to do anything but swap the logo.
Basically, when i decided to use Synapse and phpbb3 for my forum, i looked around beforehand for phpbb3 color schemes that would look good with the styles synapse offers. When i saw the "Ubuntu" style and compared that to Style 1 of Synapse (i think its style 1, if i remember correctly), i thought, "Wow, that will look good together" and went with it.
