    Pets n Vets - Chromatophore

Posted 16 years 7 months ago
    • This is a site i did for my Sister's business (what do they say about Friends and family!!! ???)
      Chromatophore provided the perfect solution.

      Website URL: www.petsnvets.co.nz

Additional Extensions (Components, Modules, Plug ins): It's pretty simple just now - RookZoom and GMaps Pro

      Custom Development: None

      Other Features: None

Any specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on, if any: Do all the colours work together? Love to hear your thoughts (don't mention the cat - it is part of their brand (personally I hate it!!)

    • I like the clean, professional, uncluttered look! Well-done.

I am not sure how much time you want to put into it, but one thing that would be a nice touch would be to have the main picture (with the dog and the Pets n Vets logo and text rotate with other animals...keep the text and everything else the same, but just swap the dog for, say, a cat, and a bird, and whatever else they handle. :)

    • Hi Terp,

Thanks for your comments. I agree 100% with you but the dog is their Brand so it had to feature heavily. I do agree that it would be good to have more animals featuring. Maybe I'll look at putting it into a module somewhere.

      Cheers again

    • Currently, the Secondary Color and Tertiary Color are dark blue and gray.

IMHO, the dark blue is too dark and doesn't match the site, the gray isn't so bad...

But, you have three colors in the logo 'plus sign' you could work with...

Top & bottom of the plus sign: 3DAFD3
Center of the plus sign: 1C93C7
Sides of the plus sign: 94CEE7

Working with those, you could switch around the Secondary Color and Tertiary Color to get a really nice match.
    • Thanks,

XMap. Do a mouseover the link and it shows the component. :) I use it, too...easy to setup, works out of the box, install and publish and bam - instant site map.
