I am an armchair critic since I have nothing to show for all of my tinkering, but I would like to suggest that since Elemental is so clean in its design, that you make your content follow that model. For example, make all of your images the same width (or have 2 "standard" widths: one for portrait and one for landscape). Also, the image borders are inconsistent. At the time I saw the site you had the following: no border, thin border, photo-style border, shadow, thin border, thicker border, thin, thick, thin.
Having said that (I am a virgo, which apparently make me notice such things), I think the site is great. You have solid content, easy navigation and a nice look.
A user has informed me there is a layout issue on the front page with safari can any mac users pleasdee take a look and see if they get the same issue?
I first viewed it in firefox, then IE7, and finally Safari... (used the windows version... perhaps that makes a difference?)
No problems in layout. I think the size of the photos is fine.
I just attempted a similar project for a school I got involved with. Used Chromatophore...

did not have anywhere near the amount of content you have amassed though, and the school was not co-operative with me on getting content together.. basically everything you see there is what I came up with.
Didn't receive a dime from them, but didn't get any enthusiasm for the project either. The site will probably be laid to rest very soon.
That site has become my job - they were so happy they offered me a 20 hr per week (at a very good hourly rate) committment to run it. Indide the memebers area is fireboard, flashcoms videochat ands a heap of othergoodies and content.
