One thing that is easy to forget with the AWESOME new templates each month is that just because something is old doesn't mean it isn't still good to use.
That was why I used Internet Gazette from Jan 06 ...

The template is pretty much stock, but I think it turned out nicely.
Rocket Theme and Joomla work great for political websites - just as they do for small business and organizations ... with this site, our firm mostly acted as the consultant installing Joomla / template / web forms, training the staff on how to add content / make updates then tweaking the template and working with an artist to create images that worked in the template.
We used Facile Forms and JEvents as well as Joomla 1.0.15
Stay tuned for another Political Website we are launching next week with Novus - which BTW is a great template also for sites that don't need tons of fancy eye candy, just a clean look. - James Hills
