I am currently working on this site: http://www.barkleyandpaws.com. I am using the mobius theme (a little problem in Firefox though??). It is a magazine site which is also using the Ijoomla magazine module.
The Rocket themes really help with the layout and are very easy to use. What a difference over the standard fare. Any ideas and suggestions are extremely welcome. I am still adding content daily and plan on this being a work in progress for quite some time.
Thanks again for a great set of themes!!!
it's a bit off in Opera as well and not really too balanced in IE6 either.
you need to change the hover class on the menu to make it more obvious you are over the link.
the color scheme should probably go, the greys look to blah, and you need more spacing /margings on your content as they look like google text ads (especially the stuff at the bottom).
For color scheme, either go with a big font 'Kids look' bright colors or more doggy,kitty earthtones (yes we know they are color blind but...)
like frinstance - a nice Golden Retriever color scheme or a nice Manx Tabby or Siamease
take your favorite Cat or Dog picture then steal the palette of the predominant colors ( Photoshop and Paint Shop pro can take a jpeg and tell you what the predominant colors are-or you can just look, then use the 'eye-dropper' tool to pick up the color code)
Fun Content-A lot of kids will want to come to get info about their pet.
Interactivty:
A place to post pet pictures, doggy diary, kitty gallery, treatment schedules
a place where they come back to time and time again
(Yeah, I'm looking for fun free projects to do to pad my resume fresh out of school, so if you need a little part time sporadic help

)
