A little self serving promotion. On the 17th of Oct last month our first post went live on
www.betterphotoschool.com
today the 17th Nov our Alexa rank dropped yet again we are now sitting on 476,841 not bad for 31 days, with a brand new domain name no link bait and just some external marketing here and there.
Even with the huge front page the site loads incredibly fast, Infuse is a brilliant template. If you are involved in the photography nice we would love to hear from you.

Very very nice site!!!
Only one small comment about the login. You might want to recreate the login lock to fit to a black background.
seems the lock is a png8 with little jagged white showing. The lock should be part of your sourcefiles. I would suggest making it png 32 full transparency (be sure to do both versions of the lock.. open and closed) - Best regards,

Hi Piet, yes I know the lock does look a little shitty, I have to track down some alternative buttons just been one of those low priority issues.
We are still bug fixing the site and have several java conflicts that have been a little more pressing, I am hoping we will soon have them all fixed and be able to concentrate on the small design tweaks here and there.

- Love the site. Just one wee suggestion. There's alot of content on the frontpage, you could maybe slim it down by reducing number of articles being shown or having tag clouds instead. But seriously great site.

very nice.
did you have any conflict by having k2 and jomsocial working together? we had an issue whereby the author's information, i.e. name, description, picture, in k2 would get wipe out if the same author logs into jomsocial. never got it resolved so we decided to use wordpress instead.
