    FtG Gaming - Infuse

    Posted 15 years 4 months ago
    • Website URL => www.ftg-gaming.com

      Additional Extensions : Kunena, Jomsocial, HWDVideoShare, Clantools, Cometchat

      Custom Development : I switched white color in infuse to Grey. I made a lot of customization in HWDvideoshare, first to get my videos encoded in Hight quality, and then to be more SEF friendly.

      I'd like to know what you guys think about my website, what would you change, what do you like ...
      Any feedback will be appreciated.

      Best regards, Al Duccino.

      PS : Sorry about my bad English.

    • Being an ex-gamer myself I know how difficult it it to make and maintain a site like this so first of all, well done.

      I am one of those persons who thinks that creative criticism is the best feedback you can get and I offer my opinions as they are. I work with web development daily and every time I get tasked with making a new site I ask a very simple question that is VITAL to the success of a site; "What is the purpose of the site?", I don't know and would never claim to know what your purpose of the site is. Back when I was one of the founders of Team Evo our soul purpose of our website was the recruit new members which gave us a very clear objective and means to design the site.

      Having that said I will now continue to my first impressions of the site.

      Browsing your site on my 13" Macbook I only get to see a fraction of the frontpage, the bottom containing your module positions with match scores, what I believe to be a recruitment ad and the login. In my very personal opinion and experience I would say that the top part of your page is way to large, it takes up over 65% of my screen and I have to scroll down to find the content.

      Basic psychology tells us that people are lazy, statistics prove the same, which means that having to scroll down in order to get to "the good part" is suicide for any site. Imagine a newspaper that puts its headline on the second page, the same principle applies to websites, you have to put the bits of information that you want the user to read right in front of him as he enters the site.

      So, in short, my first action to improve this site would be to make the header smaller and put the information you want the user to see at the very top.

      Good site for the 3d gaming world, where you can buy digital 3d models online and download them after purchase.
