    • Autoupdate fails with this message:

Download Failed: Local output opening failed: fopen(myhomefolder/public_html//myhomefolder/tmp/missioncontrol-updates.json) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory(43)

    • The test site is on a Hostmonster shared server. I can give you complete config if you want.

    • Do you have write access to your <joomla_install>/tmp/ folder? you should be able to get a report on permissions in your joomla 'Help' - > 'System Info' menu.

    • Andy:

I have a similar problem. MissionControl installed and seems to be working fine otherwise - but I get this

There was an error processing your request:

Download Failed: Local output opening failed: fopen(ftp://...@reportdev.bgiwebcoach.com:21httpdocs/upgradetest/tmp/missioncontrol-updates.json) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Operation now in progress(43)

      in the update section.

      Any thoughts?

    • I'm having the same problem. Changing between fopen and curl doesn't help. My tmp folder is writable.

How do you turn the ftp layer on and off post install?

    • Andy:

FTP layer is on... should it be off?

Also, FYI - I am able to change other elements, such as the dashboard text... FOPen, CURL, etc...

but I cannot upload a new logo, error message...

Error: could not copy file to destination

I have permissions wide open on the template directories ... still no luck.

    • try turning it off.. there might be a problem with the auto-updater and ftp layer that I need to look at.

    • Andy:

      That kind'a worked...

      Cleared the update error.

      logo is still not updateable

BTW - the template looks great - thanks, and keep up the good work.
