SOLVED Missing Select Article button for menu item
Posted 13 years 6 months ago
Since installing the Mission Control admin template, there is no longer a Select Article button on the add menu item screen for single article menu type (see attached screenshot). There is just a text field and you need to know the ID of the article and type it in manually. This looks like a bug to me. There should be the standard button next to the Select Article field to bring up a list of articles. Without that button, I have no way to bring up the list and I have to go back to the Article Manager and note the article ID.
Can you confirm whether it's a bug or not? Thanks.

Figured it out. It was a conflict with the JA T3 Framework plugin. As soon as I disabled that (part of another site template I had installed previously), Mission Control works fine.

I have this same issue after I installed the latest version of MC. The button used to be there, however, I am not using JA T3 Framework on my site so that cannot be the issue. I'm wondering if a different plugin is causing the issue?

I'm not seeing any errors, just when I go to add a menu item and select Single Article (in the backend), I'm not seeing the Select/Change button next to article as noted in Eric's picture above.

I have identified that System - RokExtender was the culprit for this. Upon systematically disabling my plugins one by one and testing to see if the button reappeared, it reappeared after disabling this plugin. Is this a known issue? What does RokExtender do?
