menu item superimposed buttons

  • menu item superimposed buttons

    • Hi,
If not reported already elsewhere (I've looked, but did not find), under menu items entering an URL that has been truncated, so that it did not work conveniently), I could not verify the content and had to switch to the usual Joomla admin to be able to verify. See attached picture. Could be solved in a next release of Mission Control, my preferred Joomla admin tool anyway?!

PS Do not find where to attach a .jpg image here. The word Status and the Publish ... popup button are superimposed to the URL entered, that cannot be accessed.

    • Hi Andy,
I have to add also that I am using Linux Ubuntu, if ever the superposition is due to this, although I don't think.
      PS
I have also posted elsewhere also a topic where it says I have to paste code in the head section of the webpage (and another part in a module). I remember how to do this before the advent of Gantry, now I do not know anymore.

I think you are the founder of RT, if I remember well. You made the very first Joomla template! RT's templates are the best and super, although every time a little bit more complicated to use. But then worth the effort!

    • can you make your browser any bigger? You have it pretty narrow, and that is leading to the rows overlapping.

    • Andy,
Well, have all browsers scroll up and down, think this is not the reason?!
I have tried out FireFox, Chrome and Opera (don't have IE) see attached screenshots, always overlapping, the one more than the other.

    • I use 1024x768 (is that a problem as Momentum is 1060?)
have made a screenshot in 1280x1024 (see attached pic), also same thing
(is it because of Linux? I use Linux/Ubuntu because: never, never I have viruses, not so with MS!)

    • Thanks
For curiosity: did it have to do with linux or ubuntu?

    • nope, it was that way in all browsers. Basically I had to fix MC's CSS to be more flexible.
