    • Here's my site.
      www.slopeedge-community.ca/administrator/

If you open the admin page under IE (8) and apparently some other browsers although I'm not sure exactly which, there are characters already in the password field that you must delete, otherwise you end up typing in the wrong password.

While I usually use Chrome and Firefox, myself and some others have to use IE on our work (IT controlled) computers, and thus this is an issue. Something I can get around but hopefully you guys can fix it for the next version.

    • Delete your cookies from IE and other browsers. Sounds like someone has let The browser save previously used login details.

    • I has tred that.
I also experience the problem on two other sites I run

Didn't have this problem until I updated to MissionControl 2.4. That's why I'm assuming it's a problem with MC

    • Hmm.. it might be related to the JS work-around we have in place to address the lack of 'placeholder' HTML5 support. I'll add it to the things to look at. cheers.

    • Double checked this and it's working fine in IE8. Perhaps you have the file cached. Have you tried deleting your cache and trying again?
