    • I am getting ready to move to Joomla 3. does anyone have any tips on properly removing mission control please?

      Yes, go to the Plugin Manager screen and Disable the System - MissionControl Support plugin. Then onto Extension Manager -> Manage -> enter Mission into the Search box and then click all the Mission Control results and choose to Uninstall.
