    • Hi all,

      I have build a joomla site for a client of mine where lightbox is used in an imagemap.
      Now this works fine in all browsers except for one... internet explorer.

      What happens is:
      When you click an area of the sitemap the lightbox loads and then very quikly decides to display the image in a new tab. So my question is: What could I be doing wrong that makes I.E. f**k up...

      If anyone could take a look at this I would be very greatfull.

    • Hi,

      When I visit your site using Firebug, it returns a script error with mootools.js. Mootools is what Joomla uses.

      Something you are using (extension) is throwing a conflict error.

      Do you need to use the Thickbox? Can you use Rokbox to show the popup images? If you can, that might be a solution.

      I had a conversion service from psd to joomla and I also found it was conflicting but I simply don't have the knowledge to solve the issue by myself. Nope, I do not have to use Thickbox, actually what's running now is lightbox. I belive i've tried rokbox in the past but couldn't get it to work probably because of the mootools conflict.

      Would you have any suggestions as to solving the mootools conflict?
