    Can use anchors with the id attribute in Joomla nav?

    • Is there a way in Joomla to use anchors with the id attribute in the main nav somehow?

      I need to have a main menu items link to specific portions of a page.

      It's no problem putting the id attribute in the target areas of a page like, <h1 id="target">target content</h1>, but I can't figure out how to include the <a href="_______#target"> in main menu items.

      Thanks for any help.

    • How about using the "External Link" menu type in the menu item so you can put the link with the #target in the URL field?
