Random Charactors appearing in content? (I'm a dork and can't read HTML)

  • Random Charactors appearing in content? (I'm a dork and can't read HTML)

    • Nothing RocketTheme related, but has anyone run into random characters showing up in content?

I've got a static content item linked to a menu and in one of the tables, there's an extra > showing up that I can't seem to get rid of.

It's not in ANY of the content. I've turned off my WYSIWYG editor and checked the source code as well. I've even checked the database for the charactor and it's just not showing up ANYWHERE. It's driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

Check out the table. The second column has that extra > that it throwing off the alginment.

      Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah. I found the errant >

It was at the END of the table. Not sure how it got "moved" up to the top. Very strange, but thanks for the help James. Sometimes it just helps to type it out and think about it.

    • Yeah. That's what I typically do, but that page is edited by two other people. Seems they snuck something in that I wasn't aware of. Maybe I shoul dtake away their access... but that just means more work for me. (Not that I'm doing anything at work right now anyway. I sometimes wonder why they pay me what they do here at work.) ;D
