What's your backup solution for joomla these days? I mean a complete backup solution that could restore your whole site (from database to backend to frontend...).
I'm not having any problems for now with my sites...but you can never bee too careful. Waiting for the community to speak here

Also great for moving sites from localhost to a live site or from server to server.
You can also make copies of your site and create a dev site on your local host or a sub folder of your site.
That way, you can test components before you apply them to a live site, or if you are switching templates, you can do it off line, and move the site when you are done. - Thanks,

Akeeba is sensational.
As mentioned above, its great (and easy) to transfer from a dev server to the live site.
The automated backup straight to the cloud (Amazon S3 or Drop box) you can sleep easy knowing if needed you'll be able to bring your site back online easily.

- I haven't had a single issue with akeeba other than changing the temp path for the next backup after moving a site, besides crashing at one restore. Turned out Crawlprotect threw a conflict. I purchased the pro edition, don't really know what else it can do but I wanted to support the project.

It's really a pretty easy system to use and you get the hang of it real quick so I'm not sure the support option is totally necessary. It also has all the nice features with it and lets you do quite a bit. I've use the uploading to a remote server as well it is well worth it.
The most expensive one has some other Admin Pro Tools, but I haven't tried that yet.

I agree Akeeba is by far the best - It takes me about 40 seconds to get the backup which in my case is 76MB
I also use the remote client to administer the backups which is scheduled to run every night at 6pm but i do have to have it open to make it run but i prefer this

I wrote multiple shell scripts that backup my files and databases.
I keep the entire file structure as a one that is ready to be run, in a folder that not allowed access to robots that follow rules. The files are run by cron jobs, daily or more. I also run a nightly download to my computer at home (update mode) via ftp.
If, for whatever reason the main site went down, I can reroute the domain to my "sub domain" backup in about 5 minutes. A database backup takes about the same.
This process cost me nothing other than time.

From simple DB/Information imports/exports to an entire site backup and a fully automated install, I would recommend Akeeba. And then, when all else fails.... there's Akeeba. Nothing else compares to ease of use, quality, reliability and outstanding support. I've tried many. Why keep looking when you've got the best?
And then there's the free "Admin Tools. This one is worth it's weight in gold if you have file permission errors during transport or migration or a simple fudge on your part. One click and you don't have to spend time trying to find which folder/file out of thousands isn't set properly. It's great for noobs and pros alike. There are even more time saving goodies if you go Pro.
The documentation probably has the answer if you run into a glitch, but the developer always has a timely response. If he doesn't know the answer, he'll work with you until the problem is solved. You can't ask for better than that.
It's definitely a project worthy of support.
