I had to get a new cell phone (so did The Wife as our plan was up) and I debated whether to get the Motorola Razor or the new Sanyo Katana. I ended getting the Katana and The Wife got the Razor.
I just love my new Katana - I don't need MP3 capability or video capability and this phone fits the bill to a tee! Only $19.99 too compared to The Wife's $129.99 (?) Razor.
I've noticed that the Katana gets a stronger signal than the Razor or especially our old Samsung phones - important when you live in the boonies.
I highly recommend the Katana - it is a great phone thusfar!
My only recommendation for the next version of the Katana is to make the number pad lighting a tad brighter - a minor detail at best.

I use a monstrous screened Nokia E61. With full QWERTY keypad, it's all I need.
That Sanyo looks nice though.. we get the Razor's here in Australia, but not the Sanyo's. - Brad Baker
