Hi All as adition to my previous post is it possable to selectively turn off the left module position so as to have a full width page and then go to another page with the left menu working?

Hello John
1. Login to Joomla! Admin Panel
2. Go to Modules > Site Modules > Your Desired Module
3. Change Menu parameters from all to the ones you want the module to appear

Just to clarify James' excellent post, in the Module Edit screen and in the Pages/ Items area you can hold your keyboard Ctrl key (Windows) down and select multiple pages to have the module displayed on.
