Anyone else starting to wonder when the difference in this fork is going to become evident? 1.5 is apparently never ever going to be realeased or so it seems. I thought we were supposed to be getting enhanced ACL now that the political struggle with the evil mambo was over but it seems we still got mambo only with curb feelers, and a "for looks" spoiler. Wheres the big massive changes under the hood we got amarketing scheme from what i can see. Besides the db going from Mos to Jos i mean. I was really pumped when it came out now im kinda wondering what happened. Looks almost like peopel are worried more about SEF URLs which mean nothing to SEO then actual updates to make the Software more useful.
Granted im not hating i still get my 4.6 million hits a year from my big dog and my number 2 rank on google from NSST's but this crap box ACL is the number one deterrant for this program on every single review i have ever read. But i see lots of SEO "know it alls" talkign about SEF URLs on almost every forum i hit which is about stupid, if you know anything about ranks thats about as smart as throwing snakes in your pants and punching at them. It's just not a winning idea. I love these guys that tell you these snake oil dreams of a component thats gonna get you all sorts of rank and relativity in the Algorithms. Sell away! **Sarcasm follows**

Or i can buy that JACLPro thing with mixed reviews that supposedly breaks stuff real bad too for the low low price of 100.00.
Disclaimer** -Not that i have proof from me personally but it seems steep for somethign that could possibly ruin your site and carries mixed reviews.
Okay Rant completed, frustration released. Sorry if i offended anyone who worked on Joomla, or thinks you're really going to get massive hits with FURLS, but seriously wheres the big changes, and the ACL has been promised to be released at every single milestone since mambo 1.1.3 and probably before that but thats when I started using it. You used to be able to hack it by hand but whats up with just implementing the darn thing?
what happened this time? Version 2.0 it will be implemented is what i bet they will say.
Just seems that this fork is more like second lane and we just have had the blinker going for the last 55 miles.
Go ahead and flame away. I would love to know that i am wrong about the split from mambo and to find out that FURLS are now carrying weight in SE Algorithms. Which hasnt been the case for years thanks to the porn industry and shady sales tactics, Myabe Meta Tags are the main way to get rank now too (lol), or that ACL enhancemenrts are going to be implemented.
