    • Hello everyone, I have got a few questions about cache (also regarding Joomla).

      I can't really imagine what website cache is for. I know what it is on a computer, but i don't know how it works on a website.
      Also, I wonder how far it will affect my site. Will it make the site faster in general, or is it only useful when I have lots of visitors (I imagine that the server doesn't have to call the database for every single user)?
      One question regarding Joomla is, should i enable the cache in the Control Panel, or only enable the RokGzipper plugin - or both? And what cache times are the best?

      Can someone give me information about this?

    • I have enabled cache now, and it works good.
      But I just noticed that it doesn't work when visiting the site with my iPhone Safari and Opera browser!

      Opera Mobile shows me only some random letters on white background,
      Safari shows me a error message "Can't view site" (or something similar, I dont have my phone with me now).

      How can I solve this?
      Thanks in advance!

      EDIT: I took two screenshots from Safari and Opera:
      (in the background you can see the site as i opened it via WiFi - then I tried it without and got this error)

      its strange that it works on Safari when im connected to WiFi.
