Is it just me? (FireFox Rant)

- ...or does the most recent (couple of) version have a massive memory leak issue and suck? I swear, open up a dozen tabs, minimize it, return to it later without a reboot and it's no longer usable for me.
  
  I checked, updated, and removed unused plug-ins and add-ons; I've done all I can do, save install a fresh version, which is plan D.
  
  I just thought I would ask if anyone else has noticed a marked decline in the greatness of Firefox recently?
  
  (PS...posting this from Internet Destroyer, as, well, you know....sort of hung on me in my FF instance).

- I feel the same.
  I have my rocket-fast i7 iMac ... and I don't like Firefox because of the speed thing ...
  
  Firefox 4 has to be very good ... otherwise Chrome & Safari will kill it ...

  One more thing that is annoying is the speed of the back button is incredibly slow compared to Opera which is instant. It wouldn't surprise me if i lost 20 minutes (or more) a day due to that unresponsiveness.
  
  IMHO, the only reason to use Firefox is because of a few great plugins...

- I'm glad to read this. Not that I like that it's an issue. Just to know it's actually an issue with FF; an issue I've had with multiple tabs on there for some time. It's just about the only browser I use (aside from testing while developing).
  
  I'll have to tab it up on another browser and see what results I get!
