Does anyone know a service that I can use for Virtuemart? It needs to work for the UK (as thats where I am)
I would like to make clients pay on the website for services using a cart and not be taken off site

I'm looking at nochex at the mo - looks like you have to wait a few days for them to set it up though and I can't vouch for how good it is/isn't
I see on the virtuemart that it can be integrated but I don't know how easy it'll be

I've used Verisign Payflow Pro before (though not with VM), and it worked for me.
I'm guessing that Worldpay would be a good one to look at, for you, but you'll want to sniff it out a bit.
In any case, (and you probably already know this) you will have to set up an SSL certificate if you want to offer your customers protection for their CC data. - www.gofftech.com Web Design

nochecx are very good if you're in the uk as they accept switch. with that and paypal you're sorted
paypal and nocheck do take a percentage from you so you shoudl factor that into your costs ... - www.c3p0.se - sweden

thats good to hear - I'm still waiting to hear from nochex - seems they have a backlog to get through because of their current half price offer!
I'm trying to set up google checkout to begin using instead of paypal - personally hate paypal & they're a rip off but trouble is they're easy to use! Google checkout seems good but yet to see how many people will actually use it.
