    • I would rather have people PM me, so aleast I then know who is actually interested, rather than potential customers going and not talking to me

      See what I mean?

Also, I will check that website James

You also risk making people uncomfortable about approaching you in the first place though - its like shops that years ago used to have signs on the door saying 'no browsers' (as in no looking around not as in firefox!!) - obviously thats a dumb approach as most people prefer to 'window shop' first before buying anything - at the mo its like you've got a window but you're keeping the curtains closed unless someone asks you to open them. Also worth considering that a lot of businesses will have one person who will look at what someone can offer and then they have to go and consult with others to make a decision and all of them will want to see your stuff too - much better to have your curtains open!

On the other hand if its working for you already and you've got business coming through good luck to you :)

    • Yeah I got a few projects at the moment
Anyway, I would much rather do it where customers contact me rather than giving the url on the forum
Then I can gage the interest/who wants what etc.
      And i've had a few PM's :D

    • Might want to be careful with threads like this as there a lot of web designers on this site, and I am sure all of us would like to be advertising freely, but if we did RT would be full of people competing for business which I doubt would be good for the RT business.

That is the reason there is a rule against posting such threads. Members should read the rules
