Hello
I am unsure about sizes of images etc.
I think a client may have uploaded quite a few images to the site without compressing them
For example, one image is 450 x 675 px (Scaled to 40 x 60px) and at a size of 195kb
Is this a big file size?
Also, there are around 70 images of this size, Is there a way of optomising images while on the site without removing, re sizing and upoading?
Any help will be good

- not sure of a way to do this on the server. However you can do a batch conversion on your computer using a software like Fast Stone Image viewer (it's FREE). This allows you to select a group of images then press F3 (or right-click and select "batch conversion) then choose the settings for your conversion and reduce a large number of files all at once. The first couple of times you do this it may take a bit to become comfortable with the new software but once you have gotten familiar with it it is a huge time saver for such situations. www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm
