Get the free 30 day trial of Fireworks from Adobe, or google '.jpeg to .swf converter' and see if you can find a free application.
Why can't you just hyperlink the the .jpeg image?
And if you need to add a 'hotspot' to an image, you could do that with Gimp (free), or SangIt (free 30 day trial).
Thanks JEM. I've had a look at Gimp and it seems to save the files as .map. The problem I have is the Joomla module I am using will only accept swf files or jpeg files. These files are then inserted into an online magazine and each jpeg/swk file is a magazine page. - there is no scope for adding tags to these pages once inserted into the magazine module. - unless I can somehow convert the .map files into jpeg files and retain the hotspot within the jpeg file??
Adamck, I cant find any other module to do this so , we are stuck with Flash for now.
- i notice that the Blackberry equivalent to the ipad is advertising as being 'Flash friendly' - maybe Apple and Adobe will sort out their differences soon
