    • Is there a way to get an HTML version of the templates? I need more control over the HTML for a particular project that I am willing to sacrifice the CMS features.

    • First, what you want to do is quite difficult as the overall template design is deeply integrated into the Joomla core and needs it to function properly.

      Second, AFAIK, doing so is in violation of the TOS, in particular #5
