Getting weird error message on website

  • Getting weird error message on website

    • I am getting this:

XML Parsing Error at 1:614. Error 4: not well-formed (invalid token)

I've been looking around and gathered that since it's on every page, its probably a language or template error. I tried switching to a different template, and the message stayed. I tried installing a german language and switching to that, and the message still remained. I read in a forum that it means invalid characters are in an XML file somewhere. I turned debug mode on, and got a message saying the language table of the db is missing. How could that have gone missing?

Now, I am unable to edit articles, as when I try to open an article to edit it, I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::onDisplay() in /home/jaatendi/public_html/libraries/joomla/html/editor.php on line 268

I have also had like 8 different problems with my site lately. I don't have backups for it. Is my site permanently screwed? Surely this is all related to an underlying larger problem, which has a solution. Any suggestions appreciated.
