    • I am looking for a good who's online mod for joomla that will show the results in the backend admin section. Not really interested in showing my visitors how many people are online at any given time. However, I would like to know who's online (username, ip possibly, etc.), just for personally statistics. I have seen many visitor counters, but I am more interested in seeing users online while they are there, not just recording that they were there. Anyone have any ideas on this?:)

      Thank you,
      David Henderson

    • Will try those out, but I may have what I need by accident. I setup help center live and made a module out of it. Now I have a window that comes up waiting for people to ask for a live chat, but in that window it shows me every person on my site, their IP address, and what page they are on, and also their footprint of pages, even so far as one page before they got to the site so I know their referer! It's GREAT:)

    • William, I'd be really interested to hear how you did that!! I was searching for something like this myself but no dice.

If you could share step by step how to do it and with any links etc. I'd be so happy :)

      thanks!

    • You install HLC to a directory on your site.. Let's say HCL. . . then you set it up using the installer. . . After that login to the backend of HCL and get the code for the online/offline click here for support thing. and make a new module in joomla with that code.. There it is.. now in the backend of HCL you can see all the things he mentioned

    • When you do this, do you have to have the Link for people to use the chat on the front end... I just really want to use it to see the people on my site (backend), not give them the option to chat to someone who isn't going to be there!!!

    • Then make the images blank and tiny and put the code in the footer of the site... That's what I would do..

Though I'm sure if all you want is a stats script you could probably find one on php.resourceindex.com They Have a ton of scripts and a lot of them are GNU license.. ;D I'll look for you even

    • Awesome script found right away.... www.tracewatch.com/ .. 100% free.. invisible in the frontend.. give er a try.. you could easily put this in the footer so it's on every page.
