    • i'm in the process of building my first joomla site, i'm used to using dreamweaver ... and i can't seem to find out how to easily create a link within a page to get onto another page within my site ...

      yes, i know i can click on the 'make link' button ... but it doesn' give options to select files from within your site ...

      please help.

    • It may be easier for you to turn off the content editors in Admin > Site > Global Config > No WYSIWYG

    • i just need a way to find out what the file names are ... so that i can link to them ...

    • Could you define files? Stuff you have uploaded via FTP such as zip file? Content Items?

    • it would be both files via ftp ... and also content files ...

    • You can link to FTP files with normal HTML code <a href="link">text</a> - nothing new here.

      You link to static content in the menu manager in the Joomla! administrator.
