    • See I am no Code Monkey (no offense intended - you have to see the video and hear the song - Code Monkey its funny).

      One of the biggest request is a YouTube set up for Joomla, which is okay, but I found something better that can be put together in phases. If you have ever seen Jack Blacks new video site - he does this set up. Best of all it is free, I am just not a CODE MONKEY - I have played with the Widget to show videos on Joomla in categories, but I am a Newbie and cannot figure out the video up load feature, which is all written and ready to plug in as a widget.

      That would be phase I - getting that to work with Joomla and sharing it.

      Note: all the bandwidth is hosted for free and you get half the commission on ads, which is cool because I can show you a list of top sites that are using this format from this company - because - No bandwidth, no maintainance of scripts (its all API), no dealing with advertisers. Well, on videos side that is.

      Phase II - More advance tools (better than the widgets - which ROCK! already) can be added, they have a whole developer section with pre-made tools. I think everything from comments to rating is all handled via API so, that well once it is together - plug and play - ready to go.

      This would be cool as a leap for viral videos and Joomla.

      I maybe wrong but Phase I is simple LOL for someone who has a clue and hmmmm, could be done in a day??? LMAO :'( WHAAAAA I don't want to learn code.

      Any takers? I'll trade you...marketing for code!

    • Making a plug and play video module for Joomla...that you can put on your site. Then visitors can watch or upload videos.

      The site I found already has "plug and play widgets" that blend in perfectly with a website. I can fake the funk and make the view videos widget work on a Joomla site I am working on (that was about 15 minutes of work and I still don't know all the features), but I am stumped on the upload widget. I don't know enough to fake the funk and make it work with Joomla.

      So, anyone wants to help me ;D and make it work - I can trade maybe (I don't know - I am just throwing it out there). Plus, once the widgets work -- then who ever helps can post it as a mod on Joomla and drive more traffic. Plus, It is a incredible Viral Video Tool that could complement Joomla.

      I talk less than I write...and don't really think when I am writing - I just kinda "puke it out" (that is the phrase everyone who edits my work says about my typing) -- there it is. That better??

    • Revver.com - if you go there - you can find out all the details. But you can have a fully functioning Video site...that is branded, rocks, and is free either using widgets or some of the more advance API samples they give you. Cool thing is - it works and it is more than a good way for anyone to generate cash. Remember the Mentos/Coke videos? $30K in three months of that one video.

      What is pathetic is I don't know code, but what is cool is I know marketing...so, tit for tat. The widgets are as easy as pasting embedded videos, but again - they get more advance when you know what you are doing.

    • welll, the whole set up they use is GPL, from my understanding.
      The whole project is GPL - they just were able to take a GPL and make a Commercially Successful Site - Hence, Marketing is just as important as Coding - they work hand in hand. The thing is -- they don't develop for you - they just give you the tools and say have at it. (IMPORTANT LINKS BELOW)
