category manager area not working

- when I go to Category manager it won't allow me to add a category. I hit new and no thing happens. Any suggestions?

- Probably some files are corrupt. When reuploading the files you won't loose your data. After reuploading, remove the installation directory and you're set to go
- I use simplix, does this mean that I'm a simple guy ?

- Ok! Did as I was told. and and....ah... Now when I go to the admin it says my passwards are invalid... what do I do! I have the site backed up on another pc... do I re-upload it or just apart...
