  • where is the Meta Name data being pulled from

    • Hello,

      If i view a pages source then the following is shown,

      <meta name="generator" content="Joomla! - Open Source Content Management" />

      Yet when i go to my site config there is no meta data set.

      Can you tell me where this would be set

    • Joomla automatically adds the meta tag generator to your website. There are several ways to remove it (for "security" reasons). just google "Remove Joomla meta name tage generator " and you will see the possible ways.
